Another early start to the year. A super cruisy day with thermals and sunshine, and great to see everyone out again!  . It was about time really!...Oh, we also had a good day at Tinto last weekend. It was so warm, i didn't wear my jacket and so I have no photos.

After leaving late and getting stuck in traffic due to an accident on the way up to the highlands and missing the best flying of the day, we had a walk up the Devil's Staircase (on the west highland way) and a bimble off the top. |

It is a bit of a drive through the borders to get to this site. Foulshiels takes a south west, and has really good XC potential. There was a very small window in which to get flying before it got blown out. |

Although there were several arguments against going to Ben Toaig near Bridge of Orchy a bunch of us headed there anyway. Brian, Zeno, Jitka, Tim Jackson, Tim Bridle, Dominic and myself. My and Brian’s logic was that “We are in Scottish MOUNTAIN paragliding club so lets get up to some bloody mountains instead of flying sites”. |

A great day out at Bishop. A whole pile of us, plus hangies and sailplanes were doing the bishop to west lomond run, oh and tony spirling did it in his canoe..(harness).
