A very enjoyable first day of the New Year at Tinto for Sean, Rik, Robert, Gordon, Dave, Bob, Zeno, Jitka, and myself.
 
 Weather forecast was accurate and the timings were spot on.   We walked up Greenhill with very light thermals wafting up the hill, glided and walked along to Tinto summit.  Zeno and Jitka took the mountain route from Wiston.  Photo af Bob above the Dimple attached
 
 The met wind backed to S and increased ( to about 8 mph ) just the thermals faded, and we got lots of short soaring flights and slope landings.   The smoke in the valleys showed the met wind back to SE as the sun sunk to the horizon, so we had a lovely glide along to Symington.  Many thanks to Alistair for bringing the bus along for us !
