What an astonishing day at Tinto. XCs all round!

Turn up sit on the hill, boat about for a bit. Catch a thermal, and we're all off. Everyone heads in different directions with a couple of folk entering the white room, I headed off up wind towards dungavel. I had my eye on destination abington, but the head wind was a bit strong. Instead I managed 7km directly into wind. It was hard work, but super fun.

I had to get to the airport at 4 so had to get back to my car. For some reason I thought I that landing and hitching back would be the best idea, but ifI had thought more about it, I would have just turned around and flown back. I had plenty of height to do so, and I was upwind.

Hitching back took an hour and a half, and I just made it to the airport in time! It was close tho!
